Talk about bad timing! The Microsoft Marketing strategy is most certainly flawed
With Windows Phone 7 devices reaching retailers in the United States just this past Monday and at the same time, Microsoft "clarifying" their strategy over the future of Silverlight. It would appear that the one, somewhat canceled out the other. First there was exhilaration on one front, only followed by confusion and disappointment on the other. HTML5 versus Silverlight conflicts greatly with IE9 and Windows Phone 7 development. Now developers don't know where to go.
