Windows XP OS Use Drops To Record Low

In the last month, usage of Microsoft's Windows XP operating system has dropped by 3.9 percent, which brings it to an all time low of 50.5% of desktop computers. Net Applications, an analytics company, said it was the largest one-month drop they have seen since they began tracking Windows XP.

In the same report, it was noted that Windows Vista dropped 4.9 percent, and is used by only 9.1% of internet-connected PCs. Refering to XP, Microsoft's chief operating officer, Kevin Turner, stated that "It's now time for it to go."
