Microsoft is scheduled to announce the release of the software giant’s flagship Office Suite as an apps for Apple's iPad on March 27. Microsoft’s new CEO, Satya Nadella will take part in his first public press conference starting at 10 a.m. Pacific time (1 p.m. Eastern time) that day. Microsoft’s scheduled press conference is an invitation-only event and will be "focused on the intersection of cloud and mobile computing,", Microsoft has declined to announce any further details of the event at this time however as Nadella's first day as CEO, he used the phrase "mobile-first, cloud-first" to describe his strategy for the company so the topic of discussion should be of little surprise to the event attendees.
