Microsoft’s Social Enterprise strategy begins to take shape with their announcement of the completed Yammer acquisition. Yammer, basically a start-up social networking site with only four years business under their belts has been able to get Microsoft to dump $1.2 billion dollars U.S. in cash for the deal. According to Microsoft, the current Yammer team will be assimilated into Microsoft Office division.
