Microsoft Preps 'Threshold' Their Latest OS Release

Microsoft has dubbed their next gen OS ‘Threshold’ and has tentatively set the release for the spring of 2015.  

Threshold, Microsoft working name of their next major release of the new operating system. Most likely given the name since the new OS is intended to cross the threshold of better integrating their three major platforms, ie: Windows for computers and tablets, Windows for Smart Phones and Windows for the gaming console, Xbox One, or because Threshold is a planet mentioned in the massively successfully Xbox game, Halo. In either case, the release of Threshold is currently being targeted for the spring of 2015 with the added expectations that more common elements will be shared between those platforms.
