Pre-Order Kinect 2.0 for Windows

Microsoft announced they would be selling Kinect 2.0 as a standalone device earlier this year, tying it together, Microsoft later announced they would release two versions of the sensor, one for the Windows desktop and another for the Xbox One.

Microsoft’s announces is good news for people who wanted to use the motions sensing capabilities without the need for a $400 Xbox One. And while Microsoft had originally announced that the new standalone device would be available in November, it was just released today for pre-order via the Microsoft estore, for Windows, and at the pre-order cost of $199 with an estimated shipping date of July 15.
