Salesforce.com Announces New Xamerin with a Focus on C# and .NET Developers for Mobile Apps

Salesforce.com moves to attract C# and .NET mobile app developers who will help to build up their popular enterprise SaaS cloud platform.

SalesForce.com has big plans for Xamerin and while they currently have no plans to support WinRT development, they are making a bid to draw C# and .NET developers. Based on the Mono framework, Salesforce.com's new Xamarin Mobile Pack has been designed to allow C# and .NET developers to build native iOS and Android apps and integrate them into the suite of Salesforce Platform Mobile Services.
