Xamarin Now Enables iOS Developers to Code C# Apps In Microsoft Visual Studio

Xamarin moves forward in their goal to mark C# as the choice for mobile developers by providing them with the ability to use their traditional tools to build iOS apps.

Xamarin announced the release of their new Xamarin 2.0 with Xamarin Studio enabling iOS developers with the ability to write native C# apps using the familiar Microsoft Visual Studio suite of tools. Xamarin Studio is a IDE and includes the new Xamarin.iOS for Visual Studio. A simple plug-in which provides Xamarin user with the ability to code in Visual Studio making this the first time anyone has made it possible to build iOS applications using Visual Studio.
